OUR 10-STEP PROCESS:
1. PRE-INSPECTION
We’ll start by inspecting the furniture to see any problematic areas that will need to be addressed, and to get a sense of what the furniture looks like in its unclean state. We’ll also talk to you about any particular things you want us to address. Based on this inspection, we’ll determine our next steps.
2. PRE-VACUUM
We use a professional-grade vacuum to remove any loose or caked-on soil or dust from the upholstery. This is an important step: we want as much as the easy-to-reach stuff gone before we tackle removing the deeper dust, dirt, and bacteria from your upholstery.
3. PRE-CONDITIONING
We use a specially formulated conditioner on your furniture that suspends the dirt and soil.
4. PRE-AGITATE
We then use a clean, white towel or specially designed brush to work the pre-conditioner into the fabric.
5. RINSE & EXTRACT
Our upholstery cleaning truck contains a steam generator that will pump clean, hot steam into the cloth, releasing soil from deep within the material. This also sanitizes and deodorizes the fabric without leaving it wet.
6. NEUTRALIZE
We ensure that the fabric is not left with any sticky residue by monitoring the pH balance of the fabric as we go.
7. SPOT TREATMENT
If there are any spots left on the fabric at this point, we’ll specially treat and remove them using fabric-safe cleaners.
8. POST CLEANING
We use a grooming brush or towel to set the nap on the fabrics to one direction so that the fabric will dry faster.
9. POST INSPECTION
We’ll inspect the upholstery and our work to make sure that everything is in order and nothing has been missed. We want to ensure that the upholstery is cleaned right, with no shortcuts taken.
10. (OPTIONAL) FABRIC PROTECTION
We’ll apply a fabric protector to the upholstered fabric to protect it from dry dirt and liquids after our cleaning.
