We start by reviewing the carpets with you or the building manager to identify places where the carpet has seen the most traffic and the most wear-and-tear. We’ll also identify the most prominent stains with you.

We recommend that we start by vacuuming your entire floor with a commercial-grade system. This will remove loose soil and other contaminants from your carpets. Your carpet cleaning will go much farther if we do this initial step.

Our team will move small items of furniture—small tables, desk chairs, and more. Moving larger items, such as conference tables and full desks, will be an extra cost. However, we’ll consult with you during the pre-inspection to determine what can stay in-place.

Those prominent stains we identified during the pre-inspection process? We’re going to start by applying a specific treatment to those, to help the cleaning go further in the deepest stains. This is effective for most commercial carpets.

One of the reasons we ask you about the highest traffic areas in your building is because we’re going to apply a spray treatment to those to help further loosen up dirt, grime, and more.

Typically, this spray ends up being applied most often in hallways and corridors. However, every business is different, and that’s why the pre-inspection is so important.

Just like priming the pump, our technicians will want to “agitate” your carpet to make our cleaning that much more effective. We use specialized equipment to “fluff” the carpet and loosen up compacted dirt and other contaminants.

This is the most important part. Using a professional-grade water cleaning system mounted in our trucks, we’ll send hot water through the carpet pile. We pay special attention to the water pressure and heat readings: if done correctly, this will thoroughly clean the carpet without leaving it soaked.

We apply a neutralizing agent designed to further clean the fabric of the carpet.

Depending on what was spilled, there may be spots where the spotting or stains are permanent, and won’t come up—no matter how many times we clean your carpet. We’ll make note of where these stains are so that you can determine if you want to partially replace sections of carpet or otherwise find ways of hiding them.

Carpet that is “aligned” in a single direction dries faster. We’ll use our carpet grooming equipment to align your carpet so that it dries as quickly as possible.
